To be hosted by the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry at the Radisson Blu Hotel, next year's Conference will focus on the theme "Asia Pacific: Catalyst to Global Recovery." The two-day event is designed to provide a platform for CACCI members and invited experts to exchange views on measures that the business sector and governments in the region can undertake, amidst a global slowdown, to help sustain growth and enable the Asia-Pacific region to play a catalytic role in the global recovery.
CITYNET Announcement: General Congress 2013
CITYNET is proud to announce the 2013 CITYNET Congress, which will take place in early November 2013 in Seoul, South Korea. Every four years, CITYNET members gather at this Congress meeting to discuss organisational activities, determine priorities, and vote on the future of the network.
All CITYNET members are invited to attend to share their thoughts and ideas, and help shape the next four years of CITYNET. Exact dates, schedule, and location are still being decided, however official invitation letters will be on their way soon. The CITYNET Secretariat is working on our relocation plans as we speak, and the new CITYNET office will open in Seoul in early 2013. We hope to see you all in Seoul for the 2013 Congress!
The Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise Development (MSMED) Plan 2011-2016 was crafted based on consultations conducted with various stakeholders around the country. Its implementation is focused on four outcome areas namely: Business Environment (BE), Access to Markets (A2M), Access to Finance (A2F), and Productivity and Efficiency (P&E).These outcomes were identified and defined during the implementation of the SME Development Plan 2004-2010 and affirmed in the consultation process that led to the finalization of the 2011-2016 MSMED Plan.
