Powering Global Markets, scheduled from 11-13 September 2014 at the Expo Centre, World Trade Centre Mumbai.
The Global Economic Summit is a prestigious and well established forum being held in Mumbai commercial Capital of India since 2010. The theme of the Summit has always focused on the 'Development of Trade'.
The Summit is supported by Ministry of Commerce & Industries, Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Government of India and State Government of Maharashtra.
In view of the importance of the Summit, we are pleased to invite Philippine Chamber of Commerce & Industry, PCCI to participate in the Summit and lead a business delegation to explore the various opportunities from Asia's emerging prospects.
Special focus and emphasis of the Summit is to promote Manufacturing, Capacity Building, Infrastructure and facilitate MSME growth to make them competitive for exports.B
Since 60% of world population belongs to Asia, the market opportunities are immense and there are several areas for investments and trade in service, manufacturing, support infrastructure and agro sectors. Hence, we have attempted to cover several aspects of Asia's potential sectors to discuss and deliberate upon.
We would like to add that the Summit has received an encouraging response from more than 30 countries across the world.
The previous three editions of the Global Economic Summit witnessed over 500 participants from 30-35 countries including India during each edition.
The highlights of the Summit are Conferences, Exhibitions, B2B Meetings and visits to important Industry Zones.
A Summit Hand Book will also be released on this occasion. The Hand Book will illustrate through articles and case studies comprehensive and authoritative information on various facets of Asian economic and business practices and will highlight the key features, investment incentives, experiences and best practices that make Asia an attractive business hub. We invite you to also share your perspective and experiences for doing business in Asia, the article will be published in the Hand book.
