President's Message

Welcome to the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI)!

As the country’s voice of business, it is PCCI’s commitment to connect with and update you on the dynamics of the private sector and the direction to which the Chambermovement in the Philippines is headed.

The more than a hundred-year history of PCCI is rooted on its mission to help investors do better business. This mission of creating competitive, inclusive, and effective businesses has evolved from being a mere vessel to communicate the concerns of the business sector to being a crucial partner of the government in economic growth and nation-building.

Today, PCCI’ services are aimed at enabling the business community, particularly the small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), with the necessary support to ride the waves towards the fruition of a sustainable and surging economic growth and development. PCCI members are able to take advantage of its various auxiliary business services; and take active part in its policy advocacy programs.

Our 30,000 strong network in NCR, North Luzon, South Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao are given the privilege to widen their investment reach and enter the global market through our regular hosting of foreign business delegations, outbound trade and investment missions, and business matching activities. We also facilitate trade by processing Non-Preferential Certificate of Origin or CO to expedite the entry of your products to a foreign market, and by keeping an APEC-desk which aids in the processing of APEC Travel Card for businesspeople. And we are currently working on expanding more our services by setting up of the ATA Carnet program which will allow tax and duty-free temporary export of merchandise of up to a year.

Spurred with the desire to create a better investment climate for the Philippines, we vigorously work on attracting the investments needed to create jobs and transform our economy from being consumption-driven to the more sustained and inclusive investmentdriven economy through our various advocacies in taxation, energy, infrastructure, SME, intellectual property, transportation and logistics, ICT, housing and construction, tourism, agriculture, education, and industry. We are unwavering in letting our voices be heard especially in legislations that impact the way we do.
